Alisha, Hand-Painted by Helen Kish

Alisha Kish, straight view
This is my little Alisha, 8" and all-vinyl, hand-painted by Helen Kish!  She arrived the other day and is so pretty!  I made her a little romper but had to draft the pattern for it myself because I had no patterns exactly right.  It still needs a bit of tweaking to be absolutely perfect but it will do for Alisha's new outfit.

A close up of her face to show the painting.  The camera fails to capture that her eyes have a bit of iridescence to them!

Awwww! So sweet! I didn't realize her hair was reddish. No other photos of this doll shows that.
I'd love to see your entire collection one day. You have so many dolls on my wish list. :o)

Yes, I was also surprised that her hair was reddish. I think that the actual production doll must have differed slightly from the prototype.

If you check out my Flickr photostream, you can see basically my whole doll collection. I just realized that most of my Riley-sized dolls are not there so I'm uploading the photos now--if you wait about an hour from now it'll be ready with all of my doll photos. They're arranged by artist, mostly. :)

Whew, that was a task. I didn't realize how many of my doll photos were not actually on Flickr, so I added all of the rest of them, too.
